Submission Questions

How do I submit a manuscript?

Create an account on our submission portal, select the appropriate journal, and follow the step-by-step submission process. Upload your manuscript and required files, then submit.

Can I submit to multiple journals simultaneously?

No. Simultaneous submission to multiple journals is against publication ethics. Submit to one journal at a time.

How do I track my submission?

Log into your author account to view real-time status updates and communications.

What file formats are accepted?

We accept Microsoft Word (.doc, .docx) for manuscripts. Figures should be in JPEG, PNG, or TIFF format with minimum 300 DPI.

Is there a submission fee?

No. Submission and peer review are completely free. Charges only apply upon acceptance.

Peer Review Questions

What type of peer review do you use?

We use double-blind peer review. Both author and reviewer identities are concealed throughout the review process.

Can I suggest reviewers?

Yes. You may suggest preferred reviewers during submission. You may also identify reviewers you wish to exclude.

How are reviewers selected?

Editors select reviewers based on expertise, publication record, and availability. We match reviewer specialization to manuscript topic.

How long does peer review take?

Average peer review completion is 2-4 weeks. Complex manuscripts may take longer.

What if I disagree with reviewer feedback?

You may respond to reviewer comments during revision. If you believe feedback is unfair, contact the editor with specific concerns.

Publication Questions

How long until my article is published?

After acceptance, articles are typically published within 2-4 weeks following copyediting, typesetting, and proofreading.

Do articles receive DOI?

Yes. Every published article receives a unique Digital Object Identifier for permanent citability.

How is my article made available?

Articles are published on our website as PDF and HTML. They're also distributed to indexing services and databases.

Will I receive proofs?

Yes. You'll receive PDF proofs for review before final publication. Corrections should be returned within 48 hours.

Can I make changes after publication?

Minor corrections (typos) can be made via erratum. Significant changes require editorial approval and may require formal correction notice.

Open Access & APC Questions

What is open access?

Open access means your article is freely available to anyone worldwide without subscription or paywall. Readers can access, download, and share freely.

When is APC payment due?

Payment is due after acceptance and before publication. You'll receive an invoice with 14-day payment window.

What payment methods are accepted?

Only bank transfers are accepted.

What does the APC cover?

APC covers editorial processing, peer review coordination, production (copyediting, typesetting), DOI registration, hosting, archiving, and indexing.

Can I get a fee waiver?

Yes. Waivers are available for authors from low-income countries and those experiencing financial hardship. Apply during submission.

Copyright & Licensing Questions

Do I retain copyright?

Yes. Authors retain copyright while granting us publishing rights. All articles are published under Creative Commons licenses.

Can I post my article on my website?

Yes. You may post the published version on personal websites, institutional repositories, and preprint servers.

What license is used?

We use Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY 4.0), allowing sharing and adaptation with proper attribution.

Can I use figures in presentations?

Yes. As copyright holder, you may use your work in presentations, teaching, and future publications with proper citation.

Technical Questions

I forgot my password. What should I do?

Click "Forgot Password" on the login page. You'll receive a reset link via email.

I can't access articles. Why?

All our articles are open access. If you're experiencing access issues, try disabling popup blockers or using a different browser.

The submission system isn't working. What now?

Try refreshing your browser or clearing cache. If problems persist, contact technical support with screenshots.

How do I update my account information?

Log into your account, go to Profile Settings, and update your details.
